Happy Halloween

4 Jack-o-laterns with various happy expressions

As you go out to enjoy the holiday, I hope you have a Happy Halloween and a lot of fun. I also hope you take a second to think about this one thing.

The Fun of Halloween

Halloween is such a great holiday, and I’m not just saying that because of my close connection with zombies. What other holiday do you get to dress up however you want, often even at work, and pretend to be not only someone else, but even mythical and powerful creatures?

And the whole thing revolves around candy and fun. It’s a blast! Of course there are the frightening parts to Halloween, but leave it to a holiday like Halloween to even make the frightening parts fun. What’s better than curling up on the couch with a glass of hot cocoa and watching a scary movie with people you enjoy spending time with?

That’s the fun of Halloween, which may be one of best things about Halloween. When I say to have a Happy Halloween, you automatically start thinking about what kind of things you can do to make that happen.

Halloween is the one holiday that reminds us of something very important.

It’s Okay to Have Fun

Life is more than just a daily grind. There’s more to life than earning money. There’s a time to be creative for work and then there’s a time to be creative for fun. Sometimes it seems like there’s a conspiracy to make us all focus only on work and what we produce.

Halloween reminds us to just lighten up and have fun.

Best of all, it reminds us that a lot of what scares us isn’t real. I mean, how many of our fears actually come to life? At least with Halloween it’s very up front about it.

So have a Happy Halloween. Enjoy the fun. Enjoy the frights. Enjoy the fact that it’s all just a great way to spend some time with a smile on your face.

Happy Halloween.
