Have a Random Day Today

have a random day today

If you want to have the best of days, why not have a random day today?

Some Great Advice

Princess Diana once said “Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.”

But why just have a single random act of kindness? Why stop with just one thing? Why not have a random day today?

A Day Full of Randomness

Think of all the ways you could change the world for the better today. Think of all the ways you could make someone’s day brighter.

You could hold the door for the parent struggling with several young kids. You could secretly pay for the college student behind you in line for coffee who’s struggling financially but needing a break. You could tip your waiter an extra $20 for lunch just because.

You could send a note to someone you admire and tell them how wonderful they are. You could buy a friend’s book and review it. You could give someone close to you a hug and tell them you couldn’t help yourself.

There are all kinds of great ways to have a random day today.

Try Some Randomness

So go out today and change the world! Make today so very random. Find a way to brighten the day of the people who really need it and the people who could use it.

Why stop there? Make today a more wonderful day for the people who are doing okay. The more everyone enjoys their day and who they are, they more they share that joy with those around.

You don’t have to make any grand gestures. You can simply share a smile or a kind word. However you do it, make today a brighter day.

Now go and have a random day today.
