Holiday Cheer

holiday cheer

Are you ready for some holiday cheer? There’s a simple way to make it happen.

Maybe I’m Being too Literal

Do you want some holiday cheer? Are you looking for a way to make the holidays become a little more special? Are you feeling the weight of the chores on your todo list pulling you down? Are you feeling the tension from all the stress at this time of year?

There’s a simple solution: have a holiday cheer! Get up, get out of your chair, raise your arms in the air and cheer! Give a great big smile and think of all the wonderful things that have happened to you this year.

You can’t be full of holiday cheer when your mind is full of seasonal frowns. If you want your spirits lifted, do some lifting!

A Few Christmas Stats

Did you know that sixty-three percent of happiness comes from smiling, seventy-two percent of what people call “Christmas spirit” is actually the act of expecting happiness, and one hundred percent of these stats are made up! But I made you smile. See how easy it is!

Why are you waiting for the holidays to cheer you up when you can just have a holiday cheer right now? You can be the fun you want to have. You can make the joy you want to experience.

I’m not saying you have to pretend like life is perfect and you don’t have problems. I’m saying that you can focus on the problems or you can decide to have a great time regardless of the problems. Life will always have challenges. Being upset about them not only doesn’t help; it makes it worse.

So why not change your outlook today? Why not have a holiday cheer? Each time you feel like you need a little pick-me-up, have another cheer. You will find your life will be that much more fun.
