Live a Life That’s Wowful

Live a life that's wowful
How do you live a life that’s wowful? In three simple steps.

Look for Adventure
If you want to live a life that’s wowful, you need to add some wow! That means you need to do something out of the ordinary.

Get off the couch and go outdoors. Turn off the TV and learn a new skill. There are tons of inexpensive and high quality online learning opportunities such as Udemy and Creative Live for all kinds of career and personal skills and Master Class for all kinds of skills from the world’s experts. Instead of wondering what it’s like to play the guitar, paint, act, or anything else, you can learn and do it.

Adventure is about living a full and positive life today that will help you be ready to enjoy more excitement tomorrow.

Be Grateful
Live a life that’s wowful by enjoying what you have. Be grateful for all the blessings you have. No matter what the challenges, you can look at the dirt on the ground or the sky up above.

This isn’t to say that you don’t have challenges or even challenges that you may need to find relief from. It’s simply to say that challenges are easier to deal with when we can focus on other things that keep our spirits up.

I like to think of five things that I’m thankful for in the morning and five before I go to bed. I try to not use the same things in a row or too often. It may be a small thing that made you smile, something simple like the beauty of a tree, or something we often take for granted like running water.

Whatever it is, being grateful will make your day more wowful.

Have Fun
Finally, you need to have fun.

One thing that trips people up as they try to live a life that’s wowful is not knowing the right way to have fun. Destructive approaches to fun are short term and show a true lack of happiness. They aren’t about being happy, but about ignoring their own sadness. People don’t drink to excess or eat a bunch of junk food to have fun; they due it to turn off the soundtrack in their head that tells them life isn’t all they want it to be.

Instead of wasting time with things that drown out a bad soundtrack, find ways to make an exciting soundtrack. Look for ways to get outside and enjoy a little activity. Plan things to do with good friends, preferably things that are active and get you moving, but anything that builds good relationships will do. Look for new experiences including things like learning to cook dishes that are both healthy and tasty. Find ways to enjoy life and prepare yourself for a fantastic future.

Live a Life That’s Wowful
Life is short and it can be a blast. If you want to add wow into your life, look for adventure, appreciate what you have, and have fun.

Don’t wait! Find a way to do all of them today and every day, then you will experience wowful living.
