The Real Me (and Me, and Me)

The Real Me

If you want to get the real me, you’ve got him. If you want to get a fake me, you’re in the wrong place.

If you want an undead me… well, you’re totally lost.

But the good news is that if you play your cards right, you can find all three.

The Real Me

People often ask me, “Dave, who’s the real Dave?” You know what I tell them? Absolutely nothing, because that was fake. Try to keep up.

See the real me is fun, irreverent, hot as hell, as humble as a monk, and says crazy things just for a laugh.

I guess what I’m saying is that the real me is hard to define, but whoever that is, that’s who you’re getting right here at Wowful Living. I like to have fun and help people like you enjoy life through a positive, inspiring, and encouraging outlook. You’re awesome. You deserve it.

And if you find yourself asking “how do I improve myself” then you’re in the right place. I want to help people focus on making the world better for themselves and the people around them. After all, it’s kind of a dick move to enjoy life when everyone around you is miserable. Joy is something to be shared; if you can’t be a part of making the world better off and more joyful, that doesn’t sound very wowful.

But this is only one of me. There’s also me, and you have to go somewhere else to find him.

The Fake Me

If you go to AweVenture, after you’ve spent some time finding exciting ways to spend time with family and friends, you might find a guy named Safari Jake. That’s me.

Well, that was me. Sure my job was to help people create amazing scavenger hunt adventures, but then there was the whole rift in an alternate universe that first caused me to get lost and eventually to be sucked into a temporal rift.

Mondays, amirite?

Which brings me to the undead me – the one who lives in that alternate universe.

The Undead Me

Now even though Safari Jake has been caught in a temporal rift, he – or, I, I guess – or is it “us”… hmmm… we… no… he… he’s okay, and still himself. However, he’s caught in a rift connecting our world and an alternate world with another me – an undead we. Sorry. Me.

When we created Zombie Goals, as usual, I did the writing for the site. Where Wowful living is about inspiration and becoming a better person and citizen of the world and AweVenture is about enjoying fun adventures with family and friends, Zombie Goals is about reawakening your dreams through habits so powerful they’ll wake the dead.

So I am a zombie named Yaki’ who can only say “Brains” but writes like a banshee, which, unfortunately is very real in his reality, and, despite the colloquialism, writes very poorly. Anyway, he throws out great nuggets of wisdom for how to build habits so easily even a zombie could do it. In fact, the key to success is right here: have easy, streaking fun.

All of Me

So if you’re looking for the real me, you’ve found me. I’m right here. If you haven’t signed up to have a more wowful life, now’s the time. It includes special content, some awesome gifts, and a book with some of the best stories from this site. And it’s free!

If you’re looking for the fake me for fun adventures with family and friends, creative ideas for spending time together and enjoying the people close to you, or an amazing way to spend an afternoon of fun with your own scavenger hunt adventure, you need to head to AweVenture.com. Be sure to sign up to be an AweVenturer for special updates, some killer welcome gifts, and a free book with over 100 great adventure ideas. Just like here, it’s also free!

Finally, if you’re looking for the undead me, catch me at 5:00 am, amirite? If you’re wanting to hear me explain the process for how I met a calorie burn goal for 2,000 days straight, or read hundreds of books, or spoke at universities, Fortune 500 campuses, and other places, all while dealing with depression and faltering motivation, go over to Zombie Goals. The best part is that you can hear me explain it as a zombie. And don’t forget to sign up to get all the free goodies.

Whether you want the real me, the fake me, or the undead me, (wow… this really is all about me!) you know where to find me. Wherever you find me, I hope I’m helping you live your best life through positive attitudes, habits, and relationships. Visit me wherever you find me and sign up to make your life all it can be.
