This Isn’t Your Day

this isn't your day

This isn’t your day, I’m sorry to say. It isn’t for you. No it’s not.
That might seem a bit off, I know, but it’s simply a truth that I’ve got.

Other Days

Sure other days may be, they can be, they will be. Yes other days are yours for sure.
But this day it isn’t, it wasn’t, it couldn’t. It’s something I can completely ensure.
See other days sparkle, they gleam, and they glow. Yes other days shine like the sun.
But this day – it’s crazy! It’s off the charts wild. No this day, it isn’t the one.

Just This Day

“Why,” you might ask, “do you think this is true? Why do you think it’s the case?”
Your perfunctory functionally feng shui’ed concern might seem okay on its face.
But you’ll soon see that questions so normally sane – questions that seem quite okay.
Those kinds of questions, they just don’t make sense – not when this isn’t your day.

Foolish Days

You see, my dear friend, this isn’t your day and the reason’s abundantly clear.
It isn’t your day because the day is for fools, and you are no fool, my good dear.
No, you’re special, you’re awesome, you’re wowful indeed. You are worth a great deal you must see.
No this isn’t your day, my non-foolish friend, and I’ll admit that I say that with glee.

Wowful Days

Now as you go out and make it the most – as you go out into the sun.
I hope you will see just how awesome you are – I hope you go have lots of fun.
But remember in truth this thing as you go – a truth inside a bouquet.
This isn’t your day, never was, never will; you’re amazing no matter the day.
