Three Simple Ways to Make Today Hyper-Productive

make today hyper-productive

If you want to make today hyper-productive, here are three simple ways to make it happen. In just a few short minutes you will know the three things that can make today the most productive day yet.

The Truth about Hyper-Productivity

Many people think that the most productive people are extremely smart or are born with special talent when in fact the reality is much different. Many of the most successful people like Steve Jobs and Richard Branson are dropouts. Branson said that success is “all about hiring people smarter than you.”

If it’s not smarts or talent, what is it?

The most successful people simply find ways to be more productive than everyone else. They are typically average people who do things in a particular way to accomplish more than the people around them. They are constantly striving to make today hyper-productive.

And there are three simple steps to make that happen.

Three Steps to Make Today Hyper-Productive

If you want to make today hyper-productive, you need to do what hyper-successful people do. There are three simple steps you can follow:

  • Make a List: Plan out your day. Have a todo list of all the things you will accomplish. If you’re new to this it might take some time to get the length of the list right, but stick to it and get better at it each day. Follow the list. Do the work. Determination and persistence are markers for success!
  • Find the Excitement: Steve Jobs said “I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” And whenever the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.” Do work that you find challenging and exciting. There will probably always be a percentage of work that you will have to find the excitement. Find a way to make it a game. Challenge yourself. Give yourself rewards. Do what it takes to enjoy the work and get it done.
  • Share: If you want to make today hyper-productive, then find ways to share. Share the experience with someone you’re close to. Share your time with others who need help. Simply give of yourself and make the world a better place however you do it. The most successful people are driven to make the world better.

Bonus Productivity

Now that you know how to make today hyper-productive, here’s a bonus step: make tomorrow hyper-productive by writing out your todo list for tomorrow, today. If you want to be on top of the day, know what it looks like before it gets here. It’s what I do, and it’s had tremendous results for me.

Enjoy your day. Find the excitement in making it all it can be. Put these three steps into your routine and see the amazing things that come out of it.
